The Problem
Trash
In cities throughout America, the placement of trash is a major issue. Trash in lakes, trees, grass or recycling in the wrong bin can harm the habitats and animals living in them. This trash is damaging healthy ecosystems.
Air Quality
In urban environments, a lot of containments enter the air. Carbon admissions from vehicles and manufactures cloud our air, in turn humans, plant and animal health depreciate.
Climate Change
Due to carbon admissions, the climate is changing. This affects water temperatures, plants health, and animals yearly cycles. This phenomenon is killing thousands of animals a year and causing the extinction of animals all over the world.
Our Responsibility
Nature was given to us. We have taken this gift for granted. The public does not understand the value of nature and has, in turn, taken advantage of our ecosystem. The building of parks will not only create a better environment, but a better natural environment for all the inhabitants of Louisville.
